Negative Critique

Luckily there are no problems with my negatives.
My best negatives were 10 and 12.
Negative 10 has no dead space and captures good emotion from everyone in the photo.
Negative 12 is candid and the frame is filled completely.

Josten Contest

The Story
This photo tells the story of a school girl who must study hard and buckle down on her studies while eveyone else around her seems to be having a good time. She is still while everyone else is blurred due too constant motion.

Action and Emotion

In this photo the happines and excitement is practically jumping out. You can tell by their emotion that they have won a very important football game or perhapps scored a great touchdown.

Filling the Frame

I like the way that the frame is filled in this photo because it is candid but the cables and knobs make it an interesting photo. Every inch of the frame is filled in an interesting way.

Contest Photo

ATPI

Beg BW Portrait
2003 Fall Contest
Maharishi School - Fairfield, IA

I find this photo inspiring because it is very simple but at the same time it expresses a strong feeling of relaxation and serenity. The reflection of the face, the blurred background, the angle that it is taken from, and the fact that it is in black and white really accent the softness of the photograph.

Pinhole Photography

I believe this is an interesting photograph because the main focus is on the post and the chair in the back. The blurred out object is the person walking by. Normally it would be the other way around. There is no warping in this picture.

I believe that the main focus of this photograph is the horizon. I personally do not like this picture because there is not a more specific focus. There is no action, no blurring and no warping.
