Ethics Intro

In an effort to promote the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a racially diverse campus, university officials digitally inserted a black student's face into a photograph of white Badger football fans that was used on the cover of their new undergraduate application.
I believe that this was wrong because it is unethical to add something to a photograph that wasn't originally there.

Most Unethical

I believe that this is the most unethical example of manipulation because the image is illustrating something that never took place. Something as serious as politics should never be messed with.

Least Unethical

I believe this is the least unethical example of manipulation because everything in the photograph remains the same and the only change made is that the pyramids are moved a bit closer together to be able to include them in the vertical cover. That same image could be made if the camera was positioned in a slightly different angle.
